Electric mobile racking system is a high-density system for optimizing the space in the warehouse, where the racks are put on mobile chassis guided through tracks on the floor, although the advanced configuration can work without tracks.

The chassis is equipped with motor enabling the racks to move along the tracks, leaving the opening for the forklift to access. Opening of only one aisle is required instead of many aisles for forklift to go through as in traditional selective racking system.
